Q. How do CSO Clear Aligners straighten teeth?

Our clear aligner therapy includes several sets of tight-fitting, custom-made, BPA-free clear plastic trays that gradually shift teeth into their desired position. Each aligner will make slight adjustments to tooth position, a process that is mapped out by local Orthodontists, Dr. Chris Cosse, and Dr. Jeff Silmon. You’ll be prescribed a time period to wear each new aligner, advancing you to the next stage of your new smile.

Q. How do I know if I’m right for CSO Clear Aligners?

Every CSO Clear Aligner Therapy begins with a free 3D scan and quick consultation with local Orthodontists, Dr. Chris Cosse, and Dr. Jeff Silmon to determine if you are a CSO Clear Aligner Therapy Candidate.
The Clear Aligner method of treatment is designed for minor to moderate teeth correction, including space between teeth, crowding, rotations, and some bite correction.  Our aligners can work for all age groups, and even patients who may have implants or missing teeth. The Orthodontist and CSO Clear Reps will fully assess your smile and work out a treatment plan that is best for your individual needs.
If you are not a candidate for Clear Aligner Therapy, we will gladly give you other Orthodontic Treatment Options.

Q. How does the scanning technology work?

Our CSO Clear Reps use an iTero 3D optical camera to capture a digital map of your smile, including your teeth and gum lines. This 3D image helps us determine if our aligners are a fit for your smile and allows our lab technician to work with Dr. Chris Cosse or Dr. Jeff Silmon in creating your personalized treatment plan. The scan takes about 10 minutes, and the appointment in total should take about 30 minutes, and you will be able to see a 3D visualization of how your teeth will look after treatment before you leave!

Q. Will my teeth hurt during treatment?

Most people do experience slight soreness for the first few days, and that is perfectly normal. It is a sign that your aligners are working by gently moving your teeth! The soreness will gradually go away after the first few days of wearing new aligners.

Q. What happens after my invisible aligner treatment is complete?

We strongly recommend you maintain your new smile with our custom-fit Clear Aligners! Without retainers, teeth have a tendency to shift back to their original positions. Your final CSO Clear tray can serve as your final retainer, or you can order new or replacement final retainers at any time.

Q. Is there a minimum age required to use CSO Clear Aligners?

For patients under the age of 18, we need a parent/guardian signature on the Medical/Dental History Form provided during the evaluation step. Regardless of age, each patient will have to meet the qualifications of treatment determined by the Orthodontists. 

Q. What is the cost of CSO Clear Aligners?

Finding out if you qualify for CSO Clear Aligner Therapy is completely free for you. Once you determine if you are a candidate, you will have a couple of affordable payment plan options to choose from. All treatment plans start with a minimum down payment of $250. You can also choose to Pay in Full upfront for your treatment and receive a discount on your treatment for doing so. We know everyone’s financial situation is unique, and we are here to help you customize your payments to make Orthodontic treatment possible for every budget! 

Q. Can I use insurance to pay for CSO Clear Aligners?

Absolutely! If your dental plan provides orthodontic benefits you may be reimbursed directly from your insurance company after purchasing your aligners. Our full-time Insurance Coordinator will help make sure you receive the most benefits possible from your insurance provider.
